About Wishing Well Travel
Wishing Well Travel was founded by Daniel and Rebecca Ethington in 2009, we started out much like any other Exclusive Disney Travel Agent: with a Disneyland vacation. But our story is different, much different. When the economy crashed, our family lost everything; job, home, belongings. We sold what we could to survive, trying to make the best of everything. But, when you live like that there is one thing you crave more than anything else -- a break. We wanted a vacation, an escape. We wanted that moment in time where we could look back and give us the strength to move forward. We saved up for years to take our family to the Disneyland® Resort, and finally in 2007 we were able to do so. We went on a hope and a dream and ate sandwiches to save money, but we were there. And we created those memories we craved. We sat and bawled through a parade, the look of excitement and wonderment on our children's faces too much for us to handle. We waited in lines and chased Pluto through Toon Town. But, most of all we came back a stronger family.
We have been to Disneyland® Resort hundreds of times in both our child hood and our adult life. But that time stands out the most to us. That trip was what brought the idea of Wishing Well Travel to life.
